Master in Agricultural Sciences. Mention vegetable Physiology. He obtained the title of Agricultural Engineer in the Central University of Las Villas in 1972. He possesses Auxiliary Investigator's categories and Titular Professor. The fundamental work has been in Agrotechnique of the tobacco cultivation, having experience in the Agrotechnique activity, genetic improvement, production of seeds and extension in the cultivation of tobacco. Leader of projects on the thematic one: Rotation System and sequence of cultivations for the soils of the main tobacco regions.
Ecological -technology in the matter obtaining prevails for the production of tobacco mechanized in the central region of the country, they belong to the Tobacco Research Institute. He has received 33 graduate degrees; published 75 articles in magazines, also other 15 works in bulletins, folding and other informative documents. He has participated as author and lecturer in more than 110 Scientist National and International Technicians events. He has advised 54 thesis: university students, middle level, and master. He has imparted 28 courses of graduate degrees and several conferences and seminars. Professor of subjects Agrotechnique and seed production in the tobacco crop. He participates as extensions in the central territory of Cuba. He has imparted trainings and advice to foreign and national specialists. He has participated in tribunals that it includes Scientific Events, discussion of Works of Diploma and masters and he has received multiple conferences in different thematic.
Member of different commissions, among them: 1983-2005, member of the Tobacco National Scientific Council and of the Advisory Technical Council, 1990-2010, member of the Association for Innovation and Rationalization and of the Cuban Association of Agricultural and Forest Technicians; 2000-2010. He has received 60 prizes like author or joint author and recognitions for the developed activity, among them for the creation of resistant varieties of tobacco to the main illnesses and their Agrotechnique. He has obtained 12 scientific results. He has participated as author in 6 national prizes for the Forum of Science and Technique; he obtained 5 Prizes Brunch of the Ministry of the Agriculture. In l993 he received author's certificate for invention of varieties of dark tobacco to sun in stick ‘Cab-7 ' Has knowledge of English.
